Familiarity-The story is very representative of the people, as it affected most people in America and it is a national scandal.
Amplitude-The event was very serious as it involved international espionage and government campaigns to spy on a large amount of its citizens.
Frequency-A major scandal such as this, involving government secrets, rarely happens on such a large scale.
Predictable-The event came totally out of the blue, it was incredibly unpredictable.

Negativity-The event is negative as it includes illegal spying on people in the US and the political persecution of Edward Snowden.
